KWSG FLAGS-OFF  COMPENSATION ON LANDS ACQUIRED The Kwara State Government has flagged up the compensation over the Lands acquisition of 2100ha for extension of the Industrial Park started in late 2023. The Executive Chairman, Kwara State Geographic Information Service KWGIS ESV. Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman, who did flag off today at the Premises of the Agency. He said, the acquisition of 2100ha for extensions of the industrial park, located off old Ogbomosho road which covers over 15 communities in ASA Local Government Areas of the State and started since  late year 2023. *KWGIS PROCESSES 334 CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY, READY FOR COLLECTION *  The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KWGIS) ESV. Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman, has disclosed that 178 Certificates of Occupancy (C of Os) have been processed and duly signed by Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for collection. The Chairman made this disclosure while giving an account of the Agency's stewardship at the last quarterly inter- ministerial press briefing, organised by the Ministry of Communications. ESV. Sulyman said, the Agency has processed a total number of 156 in the second quarter, and 178 in the last quarter of 2024, making a total of 334 certificates of occupancy duly processed to the final stage and ready for collection. KWGIS ASSURES REDAN OF PARTNERSHIP*

The Kwara State Government is poised to partner with the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), Kwara Chapter, with the aim of preventing members from contravening the set standards of building construction to avoid collapse of buildings in the State. The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Geographic Information Service, ESV Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman said this in Ilorin while playing host to the Chairman and members of REDAN in his GRA office in Ilorin, the State Capital. *Kwara Govt Partners NIS, Others for Ease of Doing Business

The Kwara State Government has assured the Nigeria Institute of Surveyors and other land related associations of its readiness to partner with them for ease of doing business in the State.  The Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Geographic Information Service, Esv Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman gave the assurance in Ilorin while receiving the Nigeria Institute of Surveyors (NIS) and Private Practicing Surveyors of Nigeria (APPSN) in his  office.  Esv Sulyman noted that  the Agency is very much ready to partner with any association willing to cooperate and support the policy thrust of the State Government in making life meaningful for all Kwarans. Livestock Project: KWSG Compensates Customary Land Owners*

The Kwara State Government has compensated customary land owners for the hectares of land acquired for livestock project phase one in Malete/Ipaye District in Moro Local Government Area of the State. Speaking at an event to compensate the land owners today,  the Executive Chairman of the State Geographic Information Service, ESV Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman disclosed that 3000 hectares of land had been acquired from Jehunkunu and Belko families respectively at Malete/Ipaye District, Moro Local Government Area where the livestock project would be sited. In its bid to ensure a clean, safe and healthy environment across the State, the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KWGIS), ESV Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman has assured the  Kwara State Commissioner for Environment of a purpose driven collaboration towards achieving a cleaner State. The Executive Chairman, disclosed this today, when the Commissioner, Hajia Nafisat Musa Buge paid a courtesy visit to the Lands Administration headquarters in Ilorin.  According to him, "we are partners in progress and working towards the same goals and objectives, we are fully aware of your clean Kwara exercise and we are ready to collaborate with all MDAs working towards achieving the objectives of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in his developmental strides and efforts towards a cleaner Kwara".
