EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN KW-GIS CHARGES DIRECTORATES ON REVENUE DRIVE.: SHITTU.

The Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KW-GIS) held it's maiden monthly  Revenue Performance Review Meeting today at the conference room of the Executive Chairman.

  The Executive Chairman (KW-GIS), Mallam  Abdulmutalib A.Shittu, who chair the meeting, welcomed all Revenue Units Heads to the maiden meeting edition of Revenue Performance Review Meeting of Kwara State Goegraphic Information Service (KW-GIS.)

Shittu described the meeting as a central revenue meeting because it involves all the revenue units of the four Directorates that makes up agency.

He added that as a revenue driven agency that implements Government policy in the State, there is the need to review and access our revenue performance at a regular interval in order to meet our annual revenue target at the end of the year and make funds available for Government to implement masses friendly projects and policies in the State.

While urging all heads of  units to be up and doing in their revenue drive, because the target given to the agency this year is almost tripled that of last year.

Chairman commend them for a job Weldon in the last year revenue performance and charged them to do more this year  as the target given to the agency is tripled that of last year.

While commending the State Government for giving  attention to the agency, since it's  creation and to him much is given, much is expected.

*Promote work ethics, State Civil Servants charged*  Kwara State Civil Servants have been charged to promote lofty principles and be more dedicated to their statutory responsibilities as expected of them, in order to add values into the system. KWSG Demolishes Illegal Structures, Complies with FG Directive*

In compliance with the Federal Government's directive, the Kwara State Government has demolished illegal structures at Unity Road, Ilorin, the State capital. The exercise was to ensure that government offices and schools do not have commercial ventures in front of them  to guarantee the safety of lives and property in the face of insecurity in the nation.
