THE KWARA STATE GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SERVICE (KW-GIS )FRONT DESK KICK OFF

The Executive Chairman, Kwara State Goegraphic Information Service, Mallam Abdulmutalib A Shittu, While officially kicking off the KW-GIS Front Desk today.
Chairman, advice all the prospective front Desk officers during their training to be humble and deligent while receiving the visitors, and should ensure that no visitors cleared with out issueing him or her the Visitors Tag, and that the main entrance would be shut by 3.00pm for all visitors, to this end, staff members are to exit the building through the Directorate of Lands at Closing hour(4.00pm).

AGENCY SERVES CONTRAVENTION NOTICE TO ILLEGAL BUILDING OWNER

The Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KW-GIS), has served contravention notice to an illegal building owner, at Alawo junction, Akerebiata, Ilorin East Local Government Area, even as it reiterated government's commitment to sanitizing built environment, to ensure that the set standard of building construction across the state is maintained, for the safety of mankind. Livestock Project: KWSG Compensates Customary Land Owners*

The Kwara State Government has compensated customary land owners for the hectares of land acquired for livestock project phase one in Malete/Ipaye District in Moro Local Government Area of the State. Speaking at an event to compensate the land owners today,  the Executive Chairman of the State Geographic Information Service, ESV Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman disclosed that 3000 hectares of land had been acquired from Jehunkunu and Belko families respectively at Malete/Ipaye District, Moro Local Government Area where the livestock project would be sited.
