KWARA STATE GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SERVICE KW-GIS, TO GIVE COOPERATION TO ZAMFARA STATE GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (ZAGIS) ON LANDS REFORM.
The Kwara State Goegraphic Information Service KW-GIS, Executive Chairman, Mallam Abdulmutalib A Shittu, has reterated it's readiness to give necessary support and collaboration to the Sisters State on Lands Reform.
Shittu gave this while receiving the Project Manager of ZAGIS and his team in Ilorin today, said the duo has much to shear, in view of the fact that they both have common goal and objectives in Lands reform.
The Chairman who was represented by the Agency Administration Secretary, Mallam Ahmad Idris Danjuma, said the commonality is similar, the agency is truly believed in the rule of law, and final perfection is been put on the KW-GIS Law for it's smooth take off, all other things has been put in place.
Shittu said, four Agencies was collapse to become one Agency, that's the defunct Bureau of Lands, Physical planning and Development Control, Office of Surveyor General and Urban and Regional Planning, now Directorates under the new Agency. Adding that, the whole exercise is to bring synergy and to FasTrack the process of Lands related matters in the state.
He said, the KW-GIS Law is now at the final stage, this to ensure that what ever action taken is in consonant with the law.
Chairman said the two states has a lots of ideas to shear together during this implementation process, before this time, we approach other States that has already kick start and fully esterblised it's GIS.
He said every support needed Will be given to support their smooth take off, and prayed the state should overcome the security challenges confronting it.
Earlier the Project Manager, Eng. Enilolobo H. Lukman, they were in the State to familiarize with the Agency and Copy from the wealth of experience to be share in the agency by the Professional, while apologize for the impromptu visit to the Agency, and promised to forward an official letter for the Courtesy Visit of the Technical Work by ZAGIS.
Adding that, maximum cooperation and support will be required for the smooth take off of the ZAMFARA GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (ZAGIS).
