KWARA STATE GOVERNMENT HAS AGAIN ASSURED NIGERIA INSTITUTION OF ESTATE SURVEYORS AND VALUERS (NIESV) OF MAXIMUM COOPERATION.


The Executive Chairman, Kwara State Goegraphic Information Service (KW-GIS), Mallam Abdulmutalib A. Shittu, assured of the State Government readiness to continue to partner with Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV).

Mallam Shittu gave this assurance when the Institution paid a courtesy visit to his office in Ilorin.

He said the Agency would continue to cooperate with the Institution, because both the Agency and the Institution have a common bound, especially as it has to do with land related matters in the State.


The Chairman noted that the State Chapter of the Institution has been enjoying a cordial relationship with the new Agency, since inception.


He said, the land reform was necessitated, when the Government of Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq came on board and observed that in the Ease of Doing Business(EDB) Kwara was rated low, as at then, which made the State Governor to decide to reform  land related matters  in the State by creating Geographic Information Service.

According to the Chairman, " it is interesting to hear you  choose Kwara State for the next Conference of Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, adding that the State Government is ever ready to give the necessary support  needed to make the event a successful one.

He therefore, urged the Institution that everything required from the State should be made it official and root it through the Executive Chairman, KW-GIS, for onward passage to the Executive Governor.

Earlier, the first Vice President, Nigeria Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), Johnbull O. Amayaevbo appreciated the warm reception gotten from the Executive Chairman, even with a short notice.

ESV Amayaevbo said they were in the Agency to formally inform the Chairman, that the Institution will be having its Annual Conference, and to the Glory of God, KWARA STATE has been chosen for the Conference.

He therefore, commended the State Government for the land transformation, which he described a timely development, adding that the NIESV State Chapter has been enjoying good relationship with the new Agency, praying for the continued success of its Heads. 

The first Vice President later  solicited Government support, before, during and after the Conference.
