School for Special Needs Felicitates with Gov. AbdulaRasaq on 62nd Birthday




The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq has been congratulated on his 62nd birthday.


The Principal of the School for Special Needs, Ilorin, Alhaja Fausat Aroyehun made the congratulatory message today, while receiving a donation of itemes from DAR Al-Handasha Consultants, in commemoration of the State Governor’s 62nd  birthday.


The Principal appreciated the Consultants for the support to the School, which she said the items donated would go a long way to help the students in enjoying a conducive learning environment.


The representative of the DAR Al-Handasah, Tpl Jamiu Shittu who presented the donated items to the School, said the donation became necessary to celebrate and commemorate the birthday of the State Governor.


According to Tpl  Shittu,  “we are here to give back to the society especially people with special needs as part of our social responsibility, to make them feel relevant and to celebrate with a visionary Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq on his 62nd birthday anniversary".


The items donated by Dar Al-Handasah DAR Al-Handasah, a Consultant on Ilorin Master Plan 2042 project to the School include extra large cooker; large royal fridge; overhead projector; industrial cooking pots; a set of big sieve; big cooking spoons; dozens of unbreakable plates, fashion cutleries and spoons.


In attendance also, were the Vice Principals, Academics and Special Duty; School Public Relations Officer; Head of Store; S.A to the Executive Chairman KW-GIS, and Kwara State Geographic Information Service, (KW-GIS) Press Crew.

In compliance with the Federal Government's directive, the Kwara State Government has demolished illegal structures at Unity Road, Ilorin, the State capital. The exercise was to ensure that government offices and schools do not have commercial ventures in front of them  to guarantee the safety of lives and property in the face of insecurity in the nation.
