KWSG READY TO PARTNER WITH THE NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF BUILDING: Shittu.

As part of the ongoing reforms in Land related matters and Ease of Doing Business in the State, Government has assured relevant Stakeholders that no stone would be left unturned in ensuring that their inputs count on the new bills.

The Chairman, Kwara State Goegraphic Information Service (KW-GIS), Mallam Abdulmutalib A Shittu, said this when the Nigerian Institute of Building, Kwara State Chapter paid a courtesy call to the Agency today.

Shittu noted that the State Government attached much importance to all Institutions that have stakes in the State Land Reforms, adding that the Agency has since written the Institute and others stakeholders for  inputs on the new bills and has  since been collated and Governor Abdulraham Abdulrazaq has pass it  to the State House of Assembly for deliberation and passage into law.

The Chairman urged the Institute of Building to bring up its inputs if any, as draft to the House, before the Honourable Members call for Public Hearing on the two bills. He advised them not to delay the draft, so as to not lose the opportunity of having inputs before passage.

Shittu therefore, promised to assist in his capacity to receive the draft for onward transmission to the House of Assembly for necessary action, before its final passage.

Earlier, the Chairman, Nigerian Institute of Building, Kwara State Chapter, Bldr. Omokanye Raphael, said that Institute observed that they were completely omitted from the bills, urging the State Government to extend the same hand of cooperation the Institute is enjoying in other States to them.

Bldr. Raphael expressed that the Institute of Building is held in high esteem, because of the roles it plays in Building Construction, urging the Kwara State Government to extend the same gestures  to the Institute in the State.

He later pledged unflinching support of the Institute to the Government of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led Administration at all times.

End.
