*KW-GIS Solicits for Synergy from Sister Agency*

As part of his familiarization tours of other government establishment, the Acting Executive Chairman, Kwara State Geographic Information Service (KW-GIS), ESV. Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman has solicited for cooperation and strong working synergy with the sister Agencies, to boost the state&s Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), to further enhance development. 

The Acting Executive Chairman KW-GIS solicited for the synergy today, during a courtesy visit to Kwara State Internal Revenue Service Headquarters, in Ilorin.

According to Sulyman, "I am here to  familiarize myself and further seal the existing cordial relationship between the two agencies, as well as seek for synergy with the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service, now that KW-GIS is saddled with more responsibilities than before". 

While fellicitating with the Executive Chairman of KWIRS, Mrs Folashade Omoniyi, on her reappointment, disclosing that the visit was a necessity, due to the fact that they share same boundary objectives,  therefore noted that KW-GIS would need more support and collaboration   particularly on illegal structures on setbacks situated in some areas in the metropolis like Taiwo Road.

He seized the opportunity to also disclose that, printing of Certificate of Occupancy which had been put on hold, would commence from next week.

Responding, the Executive Chairman, KWIRS, Mrs Folashade Omoniyi assured the visiting Acting Executive Chairman, Esv Sulyman of her unflinching support towards making a robust working relationship, in order to give a boost to revenue generation for the State Government.

While congratulating the visiting Chairman on his new appointment, Omoniyi described the visit as timely, urging him to give an urgent attention to the generation of land charge bills, to avoid unnecessary delay, adding, "there is much to do together, to ensure an increase in the revenue drive of Kwara State."

Those  in the entourage of the KW-GIS Executive Chairman's were: the Administrative Secretary of the Agency, Mrs Motunrayo Adaran,  Senior Administrative Officer, Mr Abdullateef Sodeeq and other Principal Officers.
