*KWSG Reiterates Commitment to improving business activities.* 

The Kwara State Government has assured banking sectors and other investors of its readiness to partner with relevant stakeholders, in order to boost business activities in the State.

The Chairman, Kwara State Geographic Information Service, ESV. Abdulkareem Babatunde Sulyman gave this assurance when the State Manager, Bank of Industry, Mr Harrison Osauwagboe paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

ESV. Sulyman maintained that the State is always ready to partner any bank or investor with the aim of to improving the economy of the State, with a view to complementing Government efforts at making the State a commercial hub.

“We are ready to give you our full supports and form a strong synergy, as the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq is ever ready to embrace any move or development that would contribute meaningfully to the  rapid growth of the State economy," Sulyman added. 

The Chairman stated further that, this administration in its concerted efforts to give business activitities in the State a facelift will no doubt  support the Bank, especially in the area of titling, with the aim of having a smooth and quick title processing, to obtain facilities.

He added that the Agency is working assiduously to surpass all challenges and ensure that printing of Certificate of Occupancy starts as soon as possible, which he believed would make titling and other business activities in the State more attractive. 

Earlier, the State Manager of the Bank of Industry, Mr. Harrison Osauwagboe said that their visit is borne out of efforts to seek a good working relationship with banks and related Government Agencies, so as to help industrialists in the State to achieve their desired goals.

Mr Osauwagboe disclosed that the Bank has over 1.8 billion Naira investment in Kwara State, adding that, Kwara served as a platform for business potentials if actively engaged in a productive exchange of business ideas and best practices.

He therefore, urged the Chairman to use his good office in fast tracking processing of titles of their customers for the benefits of all, requesting for details required for Certificates of Occupancy and other land titles to obtain facilities in the bank.

In their seperate contributions, the State Surveyor General, Surv. Ibrahim Mohammed and Director, Lands Services, ESV. Abdulwahab Abdulrahaman also assured the Bank of no further delay in title required details and processing as soon as transition stages are fully completed.

Those at the meeting were; the Administrative Secretary, Mrs Motunrayo Adaran, Legal Adviser, Barr. Omolara Olubiyi and the four Heads of the Directorates of KW-GIS.
